The City of Skopje sends MKD 7 million of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Skopje Mayor Danela Arsovska submitted a proposal to the Council, the City of Skopje to help with humanitarian aid for the citizens of Ukraine in the amount of MKD 7 million.

This decision on humanitarian aid is an expression of solidarity for the citizens of Ukraine affected by the military conflict.

“We live in turbulent times facing great challenges. Nobody wants conflicts and suffering, so let’s try to help as much as we can. Skopje is a city of solidarity and we Skopje know best what it means when humanitarian aid arrives when it is most needed, especially for those who have lost their homes,” said Mayor Danela Arsovska.
