A large protest of farmers from Strumica has started on Friday, demanding the government and the Ministry of Agriculture to take urgent measures due to the catastrophic situation in this branch.
Strumica farmers blocked the streets of the city to express their dissatisfaction with the situation with the support of gardeners, but also the poor purchase followed by low purchase prices. First of all, it is due to the placement and price of spring cabbage.
This was announced by the association Vege Fresh from Kuklish who started from the school Nikola Karev to the center of Strumica. As Dragi Pamukov said, the purpose of this protest is to hear the voice of the farmer, i.e. the gardeners who face high prices of raw materials and when selling their vegetables at low purchase prices.
