The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry issued a statement expressing astonishment at the positions of the authorities in Skopje and the anti-Bulgarian campaign in the media regarding the “Vancho Mihajlov” club.
“We are astonished by the sharp attitude of the representatives of the authorities in the Republic of North Macedonia and the anti-Bulgarian campaign conducted in the media in our neighboring country in recent days regarding the opening of a club at the Cultural Center “VanchoMihajlov” in Bitola,” reads the reaction of the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry.
Hence, the ministry points out that hate speech against Bulgaria is spreading again in North Macedonia, encouraged by political parties, but also by the academic community.
