Bulgarian Vice President Iliana Iotova sees no reason at this stage to lift the veto on the start of EU negotiations with North Macedonia. She said this in an exclusive interview for the show “Brussels 1” on Bulgaria ON AIR after her visit to Bitola and Ohrid a few days ago.

“Bulgaria has five conditions for Macedonia, which have been set long ago. Even when it became clear that nothing had changed since the signing of the Good Neighborliness Treaty. Even after 18 meetings of the Joint Historical Commission, not a single line has been changed in the textbooks that are taught in schools in Macedonia”, said Iotova.
