In a video address, Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov called on Bulgarian President Rumen Radev to convene the National Security Consultative Council on the state of negotiations between Bulgaria and Macedonia, BGNES reports.

Petkov said in a video address that the Bulgarian government would do nothing without broad national consent and compliance with the country’s ruling coalition agreement.

“All parties, all services and the presidential institution should participate in the National Security Advisory Council. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will submit a report on the state of negotiations between Bulgaria and North Macedonia. This report will be discussed next week at the regular coalition council,” Petkov said.
