71.4 percent of the consumed electricity came from domestic sources in June

A total of 521,750 megawatt hours of electricity, 3,139 million standard cubic meters of natural gas, 436,990 tons of coal and 97,452 tons of oil products were consumed in the country in June of this year.

As announced today by the State Statistics Office, 71.4 percent of the consumed electricity is from domestic production, and 97.1 percent of the total consumption of coal is used for the production of electricity.

In the first seven months of this year, AD ESM produced 2,194 gigawatt hours of electricity, which is 15 percent more than last year, and the increase in production, according to the company’s announcement, is primarily due to increased production in the thermal power plants REC Bitola and REC Oslomej by 40 percent
