Today, new bomb threats arrived on the e-mails of several facilities in the country, mainly located in Skopje. The “Aleksandar Palace” hotel in Skopje received a report of an explosive device on Friday, where the annual conference of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia was supposed to start at 10 a.m., at which Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski was scheduled to make an opening speech. Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani said in a statement to TV 21 that they have already informed the NATO structures about the continuous reports of planted bombs in the country.

“Yesterday we communicated with NATO structures, to see what kind of hybrid approach to the region could happen, what could be the reason,” said Osmani.

The minister added that the bomb threats in the country are part of hybrid threats that also occur in countries in the region, which, as he said, was a sufficient reason to alert NATO.
