The ambassador of the United States of America to Serbia, Christopher Hill, said on Sunday that Serbia has embraced its European future and a clear plan on how to get there.
As Ambassador Hill wrote on Twitter, that decision required wisdom, integrity and courage. Hill said there is still a lot of work to be done and that the United States will be with Serbia every step of the way.
“The most important outcome from the Ohrid talks: Serbia has embraced its European future and a clear plan for how to get there—a decision that took wisdom, integrity, and courage. Much work remains, and the United States will be with you every step of the way,” tweeted the U.S. ambassador.
