Spokesperson and member of the Executive Committee of VMRO-DPMNE Marija Miteva, at a press conference on Tuesday asked about whether the party will appoint members to the working group for the constitutional amendments, said that the entire process led by the government was illegitimate, because “it has no support whatsoever from the citizens.”
Miteva once again reiterated VMRO-DPMNE’s position, which is that the constitutional changes in this parliamentary composition will not happen even at the dictate of Bulgaria.
“The position of VMRO-DPMNE is clear. He will not participate in such working groups because this is an illegitimate process, and we have told and appealed to the government many times not to engage in such processes where there is absolutely no support from the citizens,” Miteva pointed out.
