TIMSS (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) testing begins Monday, which covers 150 primary schools in the country and by the end of the academic year, around 4,900 students will be tested in Macedonian and Albanian.
“By participating in international studies of measuring student achievement, numerous data are obtained on educational systems, curricula, the teaching process, student achievement, teachers’ work, as well as comparing student achievement at the international level, as an extremely important factor for further creation of educational policies with which the Ministry of Education and Science will provide better quality education for the current and future generations of students,” informed the Ministry of Education and Science.
