In the shortest possible time, please submit to us the agreement for the construction of Corridor 8 and Corridor 10D signed on 8 March 2023 between the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Public Enterprise for State Roads and the consortium Bechtel and Enka, said the VMRO- DPMNE MP group in a request to Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski.
“If this agreement is classified with a level of confidentiality, we also provide you with our security certificates, which, according to Article 37 of the Law on Classified Information, allow us access to “state secret” government documents,” reads the request signed by a group of MPs.
The request, as they emphasize, is based on Article 68 of the Constitution (the Parliament exercises control over the Government), Article 122 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament (the working bodies can request data and information from the bodies of the state administration) and the Law on classified information which is based on a “need to know” basis.
