Spasenovski: Macedonia’s integration into the EU and NATO is also an achievement of the opposition, not just the Government

In an interview with MTV News, university lawprofessor AleksandarSpasenovski stressed that the lack of unity and consensus around the most important state issues is a serious problem that has been hindering the progress of the country for three decades.

“It is not true that Macedonia’s integrations into NATO and the European Union are achievements of only the ruling parties because, if we look back, we will see that the initial initiatives, as well as other major steps, are the work of the current opposition, which is a fact that should be admit, not deny,”the professor said.

Spasenovski pointed out that the fears of a large part of the citizens about the danger of the collapse of the Macedonian identity pillars with the constitutional amendments were a reality.
