VMRO-DPMNE MP AntonijoMiloshoskirevealed another misuse of the so-called EU flag fast-track procedure on Wednesday.
“The VMRO-DPMNE MP group warns of another abuse of the EU flag for a Law that has nothing to do with EU regulation, and refers to the signed decisions of (Deputy Prime Minister) ArtanGrubi about his lotteries where the main partners are employees of his cabinet, the political DUI party and controversial characters from neighboring Bulgaria, such as VasilBozhkov a.k.a. the Skull, whose companies are on the U.S. blacklist,” said the opposition MP.
In the past year, four decisions, illegal according to the opposition, have been signed by Deputy Prime Minister Grubi, three for online lotteries and one for video lotteries. All those decisions are outside the law and now, following an urgent procedure, a new law is required to be passed, amendments to the Law on games of chance to cover the illegalities, VMRO-DPMNE said.
“This is another un-European move by the so-called Coalition for Europe, which was also reacted to by the president of Austria, who came to Macedonia and said that the abuse of the EU flag for gambling is against European regulations and the foreign investments that Austria has in this sector,” said Miloshoski.
