Another tax change is coming – imported used vehicles will receive a higher excise duty. The Ministry of Finance is working on it, and already on Tuesday the Government will consider the proposal, reports Pari.com.mk website.
“After comprehensive discussions on amending and supplementing the Decree on the method of calculating the tax on motor vehicles and the amounts required for calculating the tax on motor vehicles in order to prescribe a correlation for calculating the tax according to the new WLTP method, and within the project with The World Bank for the promotion of the taxation of motor vehicles, the Ministry of Finance in cooperation with the Customs Administration prepared a proposal for a correlation table. It has been supplemented with a new proposal that takes into account the suggestions of a part of the business community,” reads the Ministry’s statement.
