In order to protect the interests of its members, but also to indicate the basic procedures and principles of work that must be respected, the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia submitted on 12.10.2023 the Initiative for starting a procedure for evaluating the constitutionality of the Solidarity Tax Law before the Constitutional Court, with a proposal for a decision to stop the execution of individual acts and actions adopted on the basis of the disputed Law, until the final decision is made, the Chamber said on Friday.

“The entire business community is united in this Initiative. With it, through a reasoned approach, the business seeks to ensure a guarantee of legal certainty, as an integral part of the rule of law principle that is necessary in the operation of companies,” said the Economic Chamber.
