SCPC discovers undeclared property of FatmirArifi, the director of the State Construction Inspectorate

The State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (SCPC), following the property situation of FatmirArifi, director of the State Inspectorate for Construction and Urbanism, discovered undeclared property and will therefore submit an initiative to the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for his criminal prosecution, as well as to the Government that appointed Arifi , for his dismissal.

“The SCPC finds differences in the estate disclosure report submitted by Arifi and the property reports obtained from the Cadaster as well as from the Ministry of Interior regarding the ownership of a vehicle. It was determined that the apartment on streetKrsteAsenov in Chair, as well as on real estate on streetGemidziska in Zhelezara, and ownership of a Ford Mondeo vehicle purchased in 2021 for the sum of 18,000 euros. The SCPC, with the minutes, ascertained a violation with the unlisted property in the estate disclosure report, for which Arifi paid the fine after the offending payment order,” said the SCPC head BiljanaIvanovska.
