The solution for the presidential and parliamentary elections is to be held at the same time, Miloshoski says

The Government is avoiding the subject of constitutional amendments because they have no track record of success. If we talk about education, there are no textbooks, if we talk about pensioners, there is dissatisfaction, if we talk about finances, there is over-indebtedness, if we talk about municipalities, there are weak subsidies and support for municipalities. They have no other topics, and we do not intend to vote on constitutional amendments such as those under blackmail from a third country and we remain on that position, MP and member of the VMRO-DPMNE Executive Committee, Antonijo Miloshoski, said in an interview with Kanal 5 TV.
Regarding the elections, Miloshoski emphasized that VMRO-DPMNE proposes a decent solution, that they be in a common term, that is, that the second round of the presidential elections should coincide with the parliamentary elections, and there are three reasons for that.
“We must not spend large amounts of money, it costs 9-10 million euros per election cycle, secondly to have a higher turnout and not have a constitutional crisis because the election of the president requires a vote of 40% and that is not so easy to achieve with these phenomena of weaker birthrate and large migration and the third reason is that we think that joint elections would save the state time because all institutions, municipalities, hospitals, enterprises, institutions when there is an election cycle are under pressure because there are certain prohibitions on purchases. If there are joint elections, that cycle will end by May 8, instead of the country being in convulsions until Ilinden,” said Miloshoski.
