One billion euros from the EU to support the Macedonian economy by opening the single market and great regional connectivity is an opportunity that we must not miss, said the deputy president of SDSM, Sanja Lukarevska, at the “Results that make a difference” forum in Strumica on Saturday.
“The European Union prepared a Growth Plan of the economies of the Western Balkans. This plan aims to raise the economic level to bring the level of living standards of the inhabitants of the Western Balkans closer to those of the European Union until membership. The opening of the large European market is also a great stimulus for our economy. It is about 6 billion in irreversible support with the opening of a single market and greater connection of regional markets. It is a great opportunity that we must not miss and I am convinced that our economy will not miss it,” Lukarevska said.
