The Union of Trade Unions of Macedonia (SSM), in order to prevent the confiscation of the Workers’ Home, submitted a proposal for repeating the procedure before the Basic Civil Court and requests that it be submitted to the Supreme Court as soon as possible in order to act quickly and efficiently.

As the SSM head Slobodan Trendafilovtold a press conference, for a maximum of a week to a week and a half, the SSM will start a series of protests that will culminate in a large workers’ protest on May 1.

“The leadership and the Council of the SSM unanimously made a decision to organize a series of protests that will culminate in a large workers’ protest on May 1. The patience of the workers is low, we can no longer comply with the policies in the judicial system to the detriment of the workers with the confiscation of the Workers’ Home. We also invite the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Macedonia, SONK, UNSM and all branch unions that are not united in any federation, union or confederation, to support us and join the protests,” Trendafilov said.
