VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski, in an interview with the Plusinfo podcast, emphasized that after the victory comes accountability for all those who committed crimes.
“As the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, we functioned and are still functioning in some very difficult times, with fabricated cases, with hundreds, thousands of people imprisoned, persecuted, just because in the past they were somehow connected to VMRO-DPMNE, they were activists, officials and so on,” said the opposition leader.
“Even at the rallies I speak publicly about revenge, it doesn’t occur to me to have it, we have a lot of work ahead of us, that is to transform the country, to deliver what we promise and to which we are committed, but I must also say that where that there are indications of well-founded suspicions of committed crimes for abuses and so on, all of this will be investigated and if evidence is provided, those processes will be brought before the courts in Macedonia,” stressed Mickoski.
