The security situation in Macedonia is still stable. But we must pay attention to potential economic indicators, said the country’s Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski in an interview with TV21.
“Now we also see the reports and what is happening, we must constantly monitor the entire situation. I think that our service does this excellently and often when I speak, I see what is absolutely not classified, just to talk about it, because many details are coming. But, the security situation in Macedonia is still stable. However, we must pay attention to potential economic indicators,” said Misajlovski.
The minister specifically addressed the problem of the spikes in fuel prices.
“We said that to the Security Council itself, you know what’s happening in the Strait of Hormuz, one-fifth of the fuel passes through there. It’s now becoming very serious in the environment of all these countries, many countries cannot reach their tankers, ships and so on, and that affects the market a great deal, it affects the economy and that’s an area where we will absolutely feel the reflection and that was felt,” said Minister Misajlovski.
