Kumanovo travel agencies say that some of the flights and arrangements that were canceled in the past period are being realized again, and new reservations are underway. Travel agencies inform that there are currently no travel restrictions and that most of the programs are taking place as planned. However, as they point out, the consequences of the crisis are still being felt, especially among travelers who remain careful when choosing a destination. Flight cancellations, primarily by airlines, have caused financial consequences, but in most cases passengers have received a refund.
“The damages are certainly great where there were flight cancellations by airlines. In those cases, there is a refund of funds. In the arrangements where there was no official ban on flights and flights were carried out without any problems, the situation has normalized and operations are normal.” said tourism professional Natasha Trajkovski. Despite previous cancellations, interest in summer arrangements remains stable. The most sought-after are still traditional destinations such as Greece, as well as charter programs to Turkey, Egypt and Tunisia. Travel agencies say that no significant cancellations have been observed in the recent period, and citizens are actively booking trips for the upcoming season.
