A primary school principal in Skopje has reported threats that lasted for more than three months, as well as the setting of her car on fire. She had been enduring torture for months over a serious crime discovered during an inspection, and the beginning was horrific – and the car was set on fire. For both crimes, she indicated that the husband of an employee at her school was the most likely perpetrator.

According to the 34-year-old woman, in the period from December 2025 until the day of the report earlier this week, she had been receiving serious threats from a person she identified.

According to the complainant, the motive for these long-term threats lies in the inspection carried out by the State Education Inspectorate. During the inspection, it was determined that the suspect’s wife, who was also an employee at the school, had submitted a forged diploma.
