Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski told a press conference in the Government that he refuses to comment on the criminal charges filed by the opposition SDSM and that he will leave it to the competent authorities to decide on it, emphasizing that he is focused on the development of the country and improving the living conditions of citizens.

Political parties, he added, which live in their own world of lies are increasingly marginalizing and disappointing citizens.

“I cannot comment further. I leave it to the authorities to decide, I assume the criminal charges have been forwarded with the Prosecutor’s Office. You will have to address the question to the Prosecutor’s Office. I would not like to influence the Prosecutor’s Office’s decision with my statement on any basis, and vis-à-vis the charge filed by SDSM, and as for some companies that will have to follow the leadership of SDSM, I think that such a type of behavior and need on our part does not exist, nor is it part of my character, nor do I have any intention of engaging in such showbiz politics. I am focused on the development of the state and better living conditions for citizens, taking into account the difficult times they live in, and I leave the political parties that live in their own world of lies to remain there and unfortunately are becoming more marginalized and disappointing the citizens day by day,”Mickoski responded to a question regarding the criminal charges filed by SDSM, but also regarding the accusations for hiring a private Israeli intelligence firm to monitor the opposition leader Venko Filipche.
