This year, an unnecessary import of 30 million euros of electricity was made, which was paid by companies and municipalities as subsidized by the state, instead of them buying it on the free market where it is more expensive, said the President of the Energy Regulatory Commission Marko Bislimoskiin an interview with daily SlobodenPechat.
Bislimoski said that these companies and municipalities have set up special electricity supply companies that do not have a license to buy electricity on the open market and used electricity intended for households at a regulated price, instead of signing contracts with EVN home that imported them from the free market.
