VMRO-DPMNE MPLjupchoPrendzov noted in an interview with TV Telmathat Macedonia has reached a level of political maturity and democratic culture, which, as he pointed out, leads to strengthening institutional stability and greater confidence in the electoral process without the need for additional mechanisms.
Prendzov assessed that certain political positions aimed at maintaining the caretaker government contribute to unnecessary polarization in society.
“The Council of Europe is an institution in which all countries from the European continent are members. It is an institution in which there are many experts in its bodies who give assessments, say that Macedonia is a functional country, that it is a mature democracy and that it is a functional democracy that can ensure all processes, including the electoral process,” said Prendzov.
The ruling party MP notes that Macedonia should move in the direction of a modern European democracy, in line with the assessments of the relevant international institutions.
“I think that the laws that have been established and are functioning in the meantime, but also the people and the mentality of those who lead politics are far more advanced and democratic, and the Council of Europe, as a credible institution, says that. We deserve what the Council of Europe says, not what some retrograde politicians want to take us back to the past,” MPPrendzov pointed out.
