The pandemic with COVID-19 canceled and postponed many projects of the European educational program Erasmus +, and the most problematic are those who are stuck, i.e. during the realization, the participants were found abroad and had to return home.

Director of the National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility Lidija Dimova said in an interview with MIA that the “rule of law” will apply to projects that have started and the pandemic has found its participants in mobility abroad, which practically means that all costs incurred are recognized even though the activities were not fully implemented.

Applicants will have the right to keep the grants approved by the European Commission, but Dimova points out it will not mean that “higher power” will be declared everywhere and again everything will have to be properly documented.
