Macedonian Prime Minister and President of VMRO-DPMNE HristijanMickoski called on all members, followers, supporters and all citizens to join the large national rally on the occasion of the party’s 36th birthday on June 17, at 8:00 PM, at the “Mladost” stadium in Strumica.
“36 years ago, an idea was created that became a symbol of the struggle for a free, independent and dignified Macedonia. An idea that united all those who believed that this country had the right to its own path, its own voice and its own future. Today, 36 years later, we mark the path we have walked together, all the challenges we have overcome and all the victories we have achieved as a people,” PM Mickoskisaid in a video post on social media on Monday.
“In these 36 years, we have had both difficult moments and great trials and tribulations. There were periods when the state had to be defended, when national interests had to be preserved and when character and perseverance had to be shown. The country when it was taken away and had to become yours again. Whenever it was most difficult, the strength came from the people. It came from the citizens who believed in Macedonia and who never gave up on it,” stressed Mickoski.
“Today we are talking about development, economic growth, new investments, better wages, modern infrastructure, better education, healthcare and institutions that work in the service of the citizens. I call on all members, sympathizers, supporters, all citizens who believe in progress, in work and in love for the homeland, to join us at the great national gathering,” noted the Prime Minister.
