Serbian actor Miloš Biković recently visited Berovo and met with the municipality’s mayor. The Municipality introduced Biković as a Macedonian actor and announced that several ideas for the development and promotion of Berovo were discussed.
“Today, Berovo Mayor Petar Ruzhinski, together with the President of the Council of the Berovo Municipality, Vladko Shahpaski, met with Miloš Biković, our famous actor and producer, with whom they discussed several topics related to Berovo, its potential and opportunities for future activities and cooperation,” reads the Municipality of Berovo’s social media post on Saturday.
Ideas for initiatives were exchanged at the meeting, which, according to the Municipality, can bring new energy, interesting content and new opportunities for the development, affirmation and promotion of Berovo.
“It is particularly pleasing that the interest in Berovo, its natural beauties, potentials and opportunities, is increasingly recognized beyond local borders. When a good idea, potential and desire for cooperation come together, opportunities open up for the creation of beautiful, significant and long-term projects for our city. Berovo has something to offer – it is our obligation to turn those potentials into new opportunities,” reads the post.
Biković visited Macedonia last year as well. At that time, the media reported that Biković, who has publicly stated several times that he is of Macedonian origin, announced an initiative for investment in a hotel and recreational complex in Berovo.
