Macedonian Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski is on a working visit to Slovenia, where he will attend meetings of defense ministers in the CEDC and KREMS formats.
As part of the visit, Misajlovski attended the Divine Liturgy and the consecration of the new church office at the “Holy Trinity” Macedonian Orthodox Church in Kranj. The event was held at the invitation of the “Holy Trinity” Macedonian Orthodox Church Community and the “St. Cyril and Methodius” Macedonian Cultural Society of Kranj.
The minister pointed out that every meeting with Macedonians in the diaspora holds special significance, as they, even while away from their homeland, diligently nurture the Macedonian language, faith, traditions, and national identity.
According to Misajlovski, the opening of the new church office serves as further confirmation of the Macedonian community in Slovenia’s strong connection to its roots and its commitment to preserving spiritual and cultural values for future generations.
Following the activities in Kranj, Minister Misajlovski will participate in meetings with his counterparts from the countries involved in the CEDC and KREMS formats, where discussions will focus on regional security and defense cooperation.
