3.3-magnitude earthquake jolts Prespa region, felt in Bitola

An earthquake measuring 3.3 in local Richter magnitude, with its epicenter in Prespa about 127 km southwest of Skopje, was felt on Sunday at 2:04 pm in the southwestern region of the country, including Bitola.

According to the Observatory’s data, the epicenter was located in the Prespa region, approximately 127 kilometers southwest of Skopje.

The earthquake was felt in the southwestern parts of the country, specifically by residents of the city of Bitola and the surrounding area, with an intensity of III–IV on the European Macroseismic Scale, reads the statement.
