Macedonia and the capital city of Skopje will host a major world handball competition. The Handball Federation of Macedonia (HFM) has been entrusted with the organization of the World Championship for players under 21, the HFM said Wednesday.
The World Cup will be held between 23 June and 4 July, 2027.
“The Handball Federation of Macedonia continues to work dedicatedly on the development and popularization of handball, as well as on the promotion of Macedonia as a host of major international sporting events,” the federation added.
The HFM expressed gratitude to the International Handball Federation (IHF) for the trust shown and the opportunity to once again be the organizer of such an important world competition.
