The Municipality of Struga informs that an auction will be held on March 16th for the sale of the Audi A6 passenger vehicle at a starting price of MKD 1,344,636 or approx. EUR 21,800.
The auction, as announced by the municipal press service, will start at 10 am on the website e-stvari.mk.
The funds from the sale of the vehicle will be used to purchase a van that will serve the needs of the municipal administration and sports clubs in the city, the information states.
The municipality informs that the announcement no. 1/2026 for the sale of movable property – a passenger motor vehicle, through an electronic auction has also been published in the Official Gazette.
“We invite all interested parties to join the auction. All information about the vehicle will be published at the auction, as well as the necessary instructions for applying,” the Municipality of Struga added.
The Audi A6, which the Municipality of Struga bought for EUR 67,000 when Ramiz Merko was the city’s mayor, sparked a public debate that it was purchased at a time when the municipality had a blocked account. A lawsuit was filed against Merko, in which the Struga court ruled that he was not at fault for the purchase of the luxury vehicle.
