Former Prime Minister and leader of the now opposition SDSM, Zoran Zaev, and his successor to the party’s helm Venko Filipche, owe answers on whether a percentage of the sale of the residential units of the incriminated Montenegrin businessman Miodrag Davidović Daka in Tetovo was agreed upon, VMRO-DPMNE MP Brane Petrushevski told a press briefing Sunday.
The MP recalled that Davidović’s earnings would amount to as much as EUR 200 million, made possible thanks to the change in the Detailed Urban Plan (DUP) in Tetovo, which the then-ruling SDSM and DUI introduced the day after the formation of their government in 2020.
“Zaev earned four million euros to enable Davidović to build a concrete jungle, according to the audio recordings in which Daka and Zaev’s intermediary, Kiceec, discuss in detail,” said Petrushevski, noting that because of this, Zaev and Filipce are obliged to answer whether a percentage of the sale of the apartments, which at the time were estimated at EUR 200 million, was also agreed upon, and requested that the state public prosecutor’s office investigate the case.
