Instead of standing up for the Government in defense of national interests, Venko Filipche wants to surpass Zoran Zaev in betrayals, and openly says that constitutional amendments are the first thing he would do in power, the ruling VMRO-DPMNE said in a reaction to Filipche’s statement, who rejected the call for unity for a better Macedonia that Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski made Saturday.
Asked about PM Mickoski’s call for unity, he reiterated his stance that “constitutional amendments must be made.”
“Everything the PM says is just an excuse. We know what needs to be done to start negotiations. Constitutional amendments need to be made. What is unity for him? Should we support him not to do them? So that they can continue to steal from the people? No, that will not happen. Because Europe will happen when we come to power after the next elections, and everyone will be held accountable,” Filipche told reporters.
