Manasievski: Fear of even greater defeat pushed Filipche and SDS to oppose e-voting by the diaspora

However, the actor Apasiev wants to present himself as a hardliner, and the agreement they accepted behind the curtain for the new Electoral Code does not suit him in front of the curtain and does not want to sign the agreement, in order to show himself to his small electorate as Robespierre, said Valentin Manasievski, spokesperson for VMRO-DPMNE

SDS and Levica, led by Venko Filipche and Dimitar Apasiev, are acting in sync in an attempt to block the adoption of the new Electoral Code. By submitting tens of thousands of amendments, they are hindering the legal solution that was harmonized for months with the participation of all political parties, VMRO-DPMNE spokesperson Valentin Manasievski told a press briefing on Friday.

“The fear of even greater defeat pushed Venko Filipche and SDS to oppose electronic voting by the diaspora, because it was precisely these people who left the country due to their disastrous management of Macedonia. Aware of the outcome, they are opposing the adoption of a new Electoral Code,” added Manasievski.

“On the other hand, we have Apasiev and Levica who are never tired of more money, so since they drained their own party, they have asked for more money to finance the campaign, something that was unanimously accepted for the new Electoral Code.

However, the actor Apasiev wants to present himself as a hardliner, and the agreement they accepted behind the curtain for the new Electoral Code does not suit him in front of the curtain and does not want to sign the agreement, in order to show himself to his small electorate as Robespierre, said Valentin Manasievski, spokesperson for VMRO-DPMNE.

It is obvious that the low trust and the decline in the rating of SDS and Levica are leading them to political blockades instead of constructive work. Instead of helping the state to meet the reform goals and maintain the pace in using the funds from the Growth Plan, they choose confrontation and obstruction,” the ruling party representative pointed out.
