The World Association of Laureates, which unites Nobel, Turing, Wolf and Lasker Prize winners, three months later updated and released the positions of Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, assessing that her messages on Artificial Intelligence and education left a strong impression in the global debate on the future of humanity.
This is the World Laureates Summit (WLS), one of the most prestigious international gatherings of scientists, intellectuals and winners of the most significant world awards, where the central topic is the relationship between human and artificial intelligence.
In its announcement, the association shares part of Siljanovska-Davkova’s address at the World Government Summit in Dubai, where she warned of the consequences of excessive dependence on artificial intelligence.
“When AI gives the answer in a second, our brain goes into “sleep” mode,” the laureates state, quoting the Macedonian head of state.
The announcement also highlights her assessment that the world continues to function according to a “200-year-old Prussian model” for educating digital natives.
“If education remains a factory for diplomas and a conveyor of data, we risk becoming “digital servants,” controlled and outmaneuvered by the algorithms used by technological elites,” states the World Association of Laureates, citing Siljanovska-Davkova’s theses.
The solution? A shift from “charging the brain” to “igniting creation.” Curiosity is the only spark that AI cannot replicate, the World Summit of Laureates announced, broadcasting a video of the president’s address.
When #AI gives the answer in a second, our brain goes into “idle” mode.
At #WLS 2026 #Dubai, North Macedonia’s President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova emphasized: We are still using a 200-year-old “Prussian model” to educate digital natives.
