Four dead and 49 injured in a serious accident in Greece

The death toll in the traffic accident that happened early Sunday morning in the northern part of Greece, near the border with North Macedonia, increased to four, after the fourth passenger from the car that collided with the bus from Serbia succumbed to injuries, while another injured are 49 Serbian tourists, said the MIA correspondent from Athens.

The accident, according to the information, probably occurred during a direct collision between the double-decker bus from Nish traveling to Stavros in Greece with a passenger car moving in the opposite direction.

As a result of the impact, the bus with about 80 Serbian tourists ran off the road, three of the four passengers in the car died, while later the fourth, who was transported to the hospital, succumbed to his injuries.

After the direct collision, a second vehicle with Serbian registration plates ran into the first car. There was a mother and a child in it, who were not injured.

From the tourist bus, 49 passengers were transported to three hospitals.
