Luxury vehicles and those emitting a higher percentage of carbon dioxide will have a higher tax rate, said Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi on Thursday.
“There is no increase in vehicle taxes if you see the last decision that should be made by the Government on Tuesday. We are talking about taxation of luxury vehicles. There will also be a tax for those vehicles that emit a higher percentage of carbon dioxide. Therefore, we are not talking about an increase that will cover a larger category of citizens,” Bytyqi said.
