During Tuesday’s visit to the municipality of Resen s part of the “It’s important! Changes depend on you,” campaign, the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, asked by reporters regarding whether the candidate would be a man or a woman and how VMRO-DPMNE will choose the presidential candidate, stressed that VMRO-DPMNE has a serious internal procedure, through organizing an election convention where the delegates will choose the best solution for Macedonia.
“In the past, we as a political party have shown that we have really broad views on who will be the presidential candidates, VMRO-DPMNE has a serious internal procedure, by organizing an electoral convention which is a statutory provision, the delegates that emerge from the membership will give their opinion, I expect that there will be candidates who will be both men and women, so let the delegates of the convention choose the best solution for Macedonia first of all, and then for VMRO-DPMNE”, stressed Mickoski.
