The Skopje Police Department has filed criminal charges against D.T. (51) from Skopje for causing general danger under Article 288, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
“On September 1, 2026, at 5 a.m., the Skopje PD received a report that an entrance door to an apartment owned by H.S. (57) had been set on fire in the Kisela Voda area. Immediately after the report, police officers from the Kisela Voda Police Station took measures and activities to clear up the case.
After the inspection and detailed analysis of the secured video documentation, as well as after the measures and activities taken, D.T. (50) from Skopje was identified as a possible perpetrator.
The suspect was arrested on September 1, 2026. In the presence of a public prosecutor on duty and an eyewitness, who recognized him as the perpetrator of the crime, an official interview was conducted with the reported person, during which additional information and clarifications were provided regarding the manner of committing the crime,” the Ministry of Interior (MoI) informed via press release.
